Handcuffing US Senators? And Other Goings On

From time to time, there is so much going on that I need to discuss several topics at once. Today is one of those days, but I promise to be brief.

Handcuffing a United States Senator

If you did not see it on Thursday, California Senator Alex Padilla began interrupting Kristi Noem’s press conference with a question. He was immediately punished for his disruption. Authorities manhandled him, pulled him out of the room, forced him onto the floor, and then handcuffed him. He was released shortly after. Later, Secretary Noem told Fox News that Padilla lunged toward the podium where she was speaking and failed to identify himself.

But the video doesn’t seem to reflect that.
