Well, It's Not CRT
Reading newspapers from around the globe often brings you to something that sickens you, makes you slap your forehead, or even smile.
The other day I read an article from the Springfield (Missouri) News-Leader. I am angry.
The article, dated April 7, 2022, was about a teacher that was fired for allegedly teaching Critical Race Theory (CRT).
I say allegedly because in her own words she said: 'Well, it's not CRT. I don't know what CRT is because I didn't go to law school and we didn't cover it in grad school. This isn't it.”
She is correct, Critical Race Theory or CRT is a complex body of thought that encompasses multiple disciplines, and its concepts and conclusions are interpreted in many different ways. Even the words in its name are subject to debate. It is an academic theory and is confined to the world of academia.
